Vampire Diaries Music

One thing I love about Vampire diaries is the awesome music that comes with it, here are a few of my favourites:

1. Anberlin - Enjoy the silence

I love this song, firstly because Anberlin is one of my fav bands and secondly because it just reminds me of that sexy scene with Damon and Vicky. I mean come on, how can anyone forget? :P

2. A girl named toby - holding a heart

This song is really touching and really fits with the scene of 2x22, when Caroline tells her mother that she doesn't need to be scared of her anymore...so sad when her mother finally accepts her.

3. Levi Kreis - I should go

all delena fans, I'm sure are really fixated on this song as its the part where elena finally realises she feels for Damon and gives him a kiss because she thinks its the last moment before he dies.

4. jason walker - down

going back to season 1, i couldn't help but remember this really sad but beautiful song of jason walker, when elena tells stefan that she can't be with him anymore after she finds out the whole truth about who he is. it's just heart breaking..especially if you hear the lyrics

5. athlete - wires

oh this song must top all other sad songs - just listen to the lyrics. they played this song when elena had to break up with stefan because of Katherine's manipulating threats. Stefan cried so much, i really felt for him..

6. ryan star - losing your memory

and how can we forget this song? the one where damon says that he's in love with a girl he can never have!!

7. anberlin - true faith



Ok. And to wipe down those tears I probably left on your faces after hearing those sad songs, here's a hyper one from Anberlin which I adore! It was in the season finale of season 1 :)

Asking Alexandria = Awesome

I lately discovered this great band 'Asking Alexandria'. They are british, and it's not very common that people from UK are in metal bands, but these guys totally rock!! Here's my favourite song of theirs, if you are into screamo and emo, then this band is just what you are looking for:

They even managed to turn an R&B song from Akon into a punk/hard rock song:
